Community Outreach Coordinator Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, healthcare providers, advocacy groups, and stakeholders.

  • Plan and coordinate outreach events, workshops, and informational sessions to promote EWHC programs.

  • Conduct community needs assessments to identify gaps in services and recommend program improvements.

  • Develop outreach materials, including flyers, brochures, and social media content, to enhance visibility and engagement.

  • Represent EWHC at public events, meetings, and conferences.

  • Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers to support outreach activities.

  • Track and report outreach metrics, ensuring goals and objectives are met.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to align outreach efforts with organizational goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Communications, Social Work, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in community outreach, public health, or nonprofit work.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Experience in event planning and community engagement.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in diverse settings.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.

  • Understanding of health disparities affecting Black women and communities.
