Community Outreach Coordinator Description
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, healthcare providers, advocacy groups, and stakeholders.
Plan and coordinate outreach events, workshops, and informational sessions to promote EWHC programs.
Conduct community needs assessments to identify gaps in services and recommend program improvements.
Develop outreach materials, including flyers, brochures, and social media content, to enhance visibility and engagement.
Represent EWHC at public events, meetings, and conferences.
Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers to support outreach activities.
Track and report outreach metrics, ensuring goals and objectives are met.
Collaborate with internal teams to align outreach efforts with organizational goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Communications, Social Work, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in community outreach, public health, or nonprofit work.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience in event planning and community engagement.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in diverse settings.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
Understanding of health disparities affecting Black women and communities.
