Data Analyst Description
Responsibilities:
Collect, clean, and analyze data related to program effectiveness, community impact, and health disparities.
Develop and maintain databases to store and manage data efficiently.
Create reports, dashboards, and visual presentations to communicate key findings.
Identify trends and insights to inform program development and strategic planning.
Work with internal teams to establish data collection methods and ensure data integrity.
Conduct surveys, focus groups, and statistical analyses to support research initiatives.
Assist in grant reporting by providing data-driven insights and metrics.
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Public Health, Statistics, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in data analysis, research, or program evaluation.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SPSS, SAS, R, or Python).
Experience with database management and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to translate complex data into understandable reports.
Knowledge of public health issues, particularly those affecting Black women.
