Data Analyst Description

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and analyze data related to program effectiveness, community impact, and health disparities.

  • Develop and maintain databases to store and manage data efficiently.

  • Create reports, dashboards, and visual presentations to communicate key findings.

  • Identify trends and insights to inform program development and strategic planning.

  • Work with internal teams to establish data collection methods and ensure data integrity.

  • Conduct surveys, focus groups, and statistical analyses to support research initiatives.

  • Assist in grant reporting by providing data-driven insights and metrics.

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Public Health, Statistics, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, research, or program evaluation.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SPSS, SAS, R, or Python).

  • Experience with database management and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to translate complex data into understandable reports.

  • Knowledge of public health issues, particularly those affecting Black women.
