Marketing Director Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote EWHC’s programs and initiatives.

  • Oversee brand management, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials and platforms.

  • Manage social media, email marketing, and digital advertising campaigns.

  • Create content, including blogs, press releases, and promotional materials, to engage and inform target audiences.

  • Analyze marketing data to track performance and optimize campaigns.

  • Collaborate with community partners and media outlets to increase visibility.

  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective strategies.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to marketing staff or external vendors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in nonprofit or health-related organizations.

  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, social media management, and content strategy.

  • Proficiency in marketing tools (Google Analytics, SEO, Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.).

  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

  • Understanding of health disparities affecting Black women and communities.
